Friday, March 16 - New Generation with Laura Cesareo from 6:30 - 8:30. Cost is $10.00. Age group 35 and under. The objective is to introduce stamping and craft to a younger generation. All ages are Welcome.

Saturday March 17 - Retro-Visionary Journal with Linda Forrest from 10:30 - 4.30. Cost is $55.00. Spend a day creating a retro inspired journal with envelopes. You n will select quriky and colorful vintage pages from discarded reading text book and utilize them them to spiff up your book. You will decorate envelopes and create inserts using a rainbow of colors reflective of the 60s' which can feature friends and family. Journaling does not have to be a daily entry about the present. With simple techniques and exercises, you will learn how to play with words to tell your story. Supply List - scissors and/or paper cutter, UHU glue stick, photo copies of family/friends/pets about an inch, a  favorite gel pen, MICRON, etc for a quick journal exercise. A snack or light lunch for an energy boost. Hope you can join linda for  fun-filled day where you will leave with your very own Retro-Visionary Journal bursting with color and a mind full of ideas.

Sunday, March 4,  Mix It Up with Rebekka Behunin from 10:30-1:00.   Cost is $35. You will learn the do's & don'ts of paste mixing. You will also explore the fun technique of Sludge Pasting.  You will have the opportunity to create many unique to your images. We will also be learning a power pasting technique. You will create 5 cards with the same image and two other cards. Supply List: adhesive and a paper trimmer so we can assemble your cards.

Sunday, March 4, Creating with Stampee Foils with Rebekka Behunin from 2:00-4:30.  Cost is $35.  You will be learning some fun techniques with this unique product. Stampee Foils add that extra detail to make your project spaarkle.  We will be pasting with Dreamweaver Embossing paste, coloring with pigment inks, and embossing with the Big Shot. Supply List: 5 stencil brushes for coloring, scissors, adhesive, and a paper trimmer. Please sign up at the latest, Saturday by noon, so she can prepare.

DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO NINA AND FAMILY

Condolences go out to our Nina and her family.  Her Mom, Gloria passed away yesterday morning.  Her mom had been ill for a few months and Nina has been her caregiver.  If you have questions or need further information, please call the shop or email Stampin' from the Heart.  Services are pending.  Gloria will be at Gates Kingsley Gates until the services.

This is a collage class but it’s also about how to write, where to write and what to write. Pretty pictures are nice to create but let’s put some meaning and written words onto our journal pages. This class is designed to nurture and encourage you in the art of art journaling. I guarantee that there will be plenty of collage AND written prompts! You will walk out with several completed pages and your head will be brimming full of new ideas and possibilities! Supply list: journal (or the instructor will have paper for you to work on), scissors, small selection of favorite collage ephemera, bone folder, cork back metal ruler, roll of waxed paper, roll of paper towels, permanent black inkpad, container to hold water, 1" brushes to glue (I like chip or bristle brushes) or a few of your favorite glue sticks.

Thursday, Feb 23 - Art from the Heart from 6:30 - 8:30. We are going to try something new so come on in and bring your stamping kit with you. If you like to make cards we will do that, if you like ATC's we will do that also. Come on in and let's have some fun.
