EARLY CLOSURE AT STAMPIN' FROM THE HEART

Just to let everyone know that we will be closing early on Wednesday and Friday, we will close at 5:30PM. Thursday night we will be open and have our regular Art from the Heart Meeting, so come on by and see what we are doing.  Art from the Heart starts at 6:30PM and goes until 8:00 or 8:30PM.

Sunday, December 16 - Come on in & Start Your Valentine Cards with Rebekka of Dreamweaver Stencils from 2 - 4:30. Cost is $35.00. It is never too early to get a jump start on a feel good holiday like Valentine’s Day. We will be using several of Dreamweaver’s techniques to complete 3 Valentines themed projects. Good morning everyone and Happy Holidays

For those of you of the Jewish Faith I hope you are enjoying your Festival of Lights--Happy Chanukah.
For those of you looking forward to Christmas I hope all your days between now and Christmas are happy and blessed ones as we look forward to the advent of the birth of Jesus Christ..
If you are celebrating Kwanzaa have a  wonderful time of celebrating.
For everyone else I hope you enjoy the season and get a chance to spend time with friends and loved ones.

It is the time of season for our annual Open House which will be taking place tomorrow, Friday, December 14.  We have a myriad of things going on.  We will have some make and takes that you can follow the sample and take them home.  Tomorrow afternoon, Rebekka Behunin will be doing make and takes at the shop for 2-3 hours.  We will have giveaways.  We will have cookies, spiced cider, appetizers and candy.
But the most fun of all will be using your percentage off envelopes.  Tomorrow will be the first day of using them--if you can't get in tomorrow you may use them for one shopping day between tomorrow and December 31.

If you get an Instant Winner you can pick any wood stamp in the shop. The day you can start to redeemed your highest percent envelope is on our open house/holiday party, which is on December 14, 2012.

Sunday, November 25 - Carson Convention Demo Projects with Lori Lai from 12:15 - 4:15.  Cost is $50.00. Lori will be using the Word Dies -"Thanks, Love & Wish" from Lifestyles Crafts. The possilbilites are endless with these dies.....You will have to see what she come up with...? There will be cards with pockets to hold the words you finish making. I will also have 1 or 2 shimmer sheet cards (see, blk & red card in my attachment, actually my photo doesn't do the card justice.). Of course, I will be using my picks of "Embossing Folders" that I found just for November's Carson Convention (there were quite a few of them!). Easy, fast, cards you will love! Friday, November 16 -  New Generation with Laura Cesareo from 6:30 - 8:30. Cost is $10.00. Come and see what fun things Laura has in store for us this evening--she always has fun projects. Age group 35 and under. The objective is to introduce stamping and craft to a younger generation. All ages are Welcome.

Saturday, November 17 - Three Gift Books with Wendy Poma from 10:30 - 1:30. Cost is $40.00. Wendy is always such fun to take a class from and her books are beautiful and such fun to journal, sketch or give as a gift to someone. All materials are provided by Wendy.

Sunday, November 18 - It’s All In The Detail: Exploring Visual Mark Making with Kelly Kilmer from 12:30 - 4:30. Cost is $70.00. Learn how to bring your pages together to create visually stunning and coherent journal pages that you can translate to a variety of art forms. Yes, we’ll be drawing, doodling and coloring in this class, but in FUN, new, and exciting ways! We’ll start by exploring new collage compositions. Then you’ll dive right in and learn how to finish off your pages by adding your own personal and unique touches to add pizzazz to your pages.
