Friday, February 8 - New Directions with Kelly Kilmer from 11:30-3:30.Cost is $70. Create your own uniquely hand bound, paper and tape covered journal completely from scratch! Once we’ve created the book, we will start to work on the inside creating richly layered pages. Combine layers of paper, tape, pens and much more to create your own visually expressive pages that tell your own unique story!

Supply list: Scissors, small selection of favorite collage ephemera, bone folder, cork back metal ruler, roll of waxed paper, roll of paper towels, permanent black inkpad, container to hold water, 1" brushes to glue (I like chip or bristle brushes), a few of your favorite glue sticks.

Sunday, February 17 - Moments with Kelly Kilmer from 12:30-4:30. Cost is $70. While we’ll begin this class by creating a stunning portfolio, the main focus on the class is also constructing a set of individualized art journal vision cards. We’ll be creating a small deck of art cards layered with a myriad of collage, pen work and much, much more! These cards can be used for art journaling, travel journaling, scrapbooking, inspiration, vision boards and more! Inspiration at your fingertips! This Weekend Classes - Fun with New Elizabeth Craft Dies, Polished Silk Glitter, & Fun with Embossing Folders

Saturday, January 26 - Fun with the NEW Elizabeth Craft designs dies with Els from Elizabeth Craft Designs from 10:00 - 12:30. Cost is $40.00. In this class we will work with the Elizabeth Craft Designs Dies. We will use a variety of dies, the Flowers, Butterflies,  Dragonflies, Bees and Ladybugs, Birds and the Words. We will use all kind of different materials like the new Velvet Adhesive sheets, Shimmer Sheetz, the new Silk Microfine Glitter and the Double Sided Adhesive. This will be a very colorful and fun class that you don’t want to miss!

Saturday, January 26 - Polished Silk Glitter with Els from Elizabeth Craft Designs from 1:30 - 4:00. Cost is $40.00. In this class it will be all about the NEW Elizabeth Craft Designs Silk Microfine Glitter. We will use different techniques to make some beautiful cards. Two of the cards will be Polished Silk Glitter techniques and the third one will be a card using the Diamond glitter in combination with the Copic markers and the Orchid Peel Off sticker. You will be a glitter Queen at the end of this class!

Sunday, January 27 - Fun with Embossing Folders with Lori Lai from 12:15 - 4:15. Cost is $50.00. We will explore different ways to use embossed images from Embossing Folders. Some projects will be dry projects and some will be inked. Time flys and before you know it Valentine's Day will just be around the corner. I will have different kinds of cards as well. Supply List: General Supply kit-scissors,pencil, double stick 1/4" tape, paper piercer, foam mounting tape, etc. Come join me for fun, share laughter, hopefully learn something new  & hang with fellow crafters. COME ON BY AND CHECK OUT INDIGO BLU

Went to the Craft and Hobby Show Convention this past weekend.  It was fun to see the new papers, new stamps and different ephemera.  While there connected up again with Alfie and Kay Halliwell-Sutton, owners of Indigo Blu.  They will be here tomorrow night at 6:30PM for a class.  Their stamps are wonderful.  We will have many of their stamps as well as their special "Flitter Glue".  If you haven't signed up for the class come on by and watch as Kay teaches the class and demos their products.  I cannot tell you how great their stamps are, many fonts with different words and phrases as well as a couple of wonderful poppy stamps.  They are in town to connect with a distributor for the U.S. but even if they connect it will be a little while before their stamps come back to the U.S.   You won't want to miss this opportunity.  Class starts at 6:30PM so if you have signed up bring your distress inks, your mister (not hubby or boyfriend), your mica powders, adhesives, scissors, blending tool for inks.  If you haven't signed up come on by and check out Kay's techniques and product.  This is special.

Friday, January 18 - Wanderlust with Kelly Kilmer from11:30-3:30. cost is $70.00. Looks can be deceiving. Create this surprisingly complex looking by quite easy journal with pages that flip and fold up and out. You’ve probably never seen anything like this before! The journal is also small enough to slip into your bag for on the go art journaling (I’ve worked in it on a plane, in a car, etc…) After we construct the journal, we will dive deep onto the pages spilling layers of color, texture, pattern, journaling and more. Walk out with your head spinning full of ideas and inspiration! Supply list: Scissors, small selection of favorite collage ephemera, bone folder, cork back metal ruler, roll of waxed paper, roll of paper towels, permanent black inkpad, container to hold water, 1" brushes to glue (I like chip or bristle brushes), a few of your favorite glue sticks.

Think of the possibilities that you can pour into this journal at a moment’s notice. Supply list: scissors, small selection of favorite collage ephemera, bone folder, cork back metal ruler, roll of waxed paper, roll of paper towels, permanent black inkpad, container to hold water, 1" brushes to glue and paint with(I like chip or bristle brushes), or a few of your favorite glue sticks.

More information to follow, on who will be teaching.  Breakfast is at 8:45 and the first set of classes starts at 9:15, lunch will be from 12:30 to 1:15, next set of classes starts at 1:30. We all have a great time learning new techniques, breaking bread with one another, getting our goody bags, winning prizes and enjoying ourselves. There are some fun new projects in the making.
