Wednesday, Nov. 30 - A card making class starting at 6:30PM, you can come on in and make one or two and then go home and make some more to send out for Christmas or the Holidays. We will be doing this Wed., Nov. 30, Wed., Dec. 7, and Wed., Dec. 14. It will be a fun way of making Christmas cards and you will still have time to send them out to the special ones that you want to send handcrafted cards.

December Classes

Friday, Dec. 2 - Sacred Place with Kelly Kilmer from 12:30 - 4:30. Cost is $70.00. Combine luscious handmade paper, waxed linen thread, glue, collage ephemera and a plethora of techniques to create this one of a kind journal handmade by you! I will dig deep into my bag of tricks and teach you what I know about working in this unique book! Learn composition, design, color, lettering and more as you work hands on in your new journal. Experiment with paper, tape, transparencies, stickers, rub ons and MORE! Think making a journal is difficult? You won’t after this class. If you want to focus the majority of class time on learning a variety of collage techniques and creating pages, then this is the class for you! You will walk out of class not only with a new journal but with your head full of new ideas and possibilities! Supply list: Scissors, small selection of favorite collage ephemera, bone folder, cork back metal ruler, roll of waxed paper, roll of paper towels, permanent black inkpad, container to hold water, 1" brushes to glue (I like chip or bristle brushes), a few of your favorite glue sticks.

Friday, Dec. 2 - Postcard with Jessica Hollowell from 6;30 to 8:30. Cost is $10.00. All materials supplied. You might want to bring your own precision scissors.

Saturday, Dec. 3 - Holiday Fun with Wendy Poma from 10:30 - 2. Cost is $40.00. Wendy is always such fun to take a class from and her books are beautiful and such fun to journal, sketch or give as a gift to someone. All materials are provided by Wendy. There will be pizza, and other fun things.

Sunday, Dec. 4 - Carson Convention Demo Class - Seasonal Cards with Lori Lai from 12:15 - 4:15. Cost is $50.00. You will create 5 wonderful cards. These are 3 of the 5 cards that you"ll be creating. Lori will be using Hanko's two new Paper, & glitter. Supplies List: regular tape, personal paper trimmer, small "x"- xyron sticker maker (if you own one), paper piercer, foam mounting tape, double sided tape, bone folder, pencil/eraser, scissors, adhesive tape runner (such as Mono adhesive) or any other Basic Stamping Kit.

Saturday, Dec. 10 - My Favorite things with Rebekka Behunin of Dreamweaver Stencils from 10:30 - 1. Cost is $40.00. Rebekka will be doing another fun class.

Sunday, Dec. 11 - Sanctuary Journal with Kelly Kilmer from 12:30 - 4:30. Cost is $70.00. Work big, work fast (but not too fast) and work across the fold in this book created and bound by you! We’ll start by assembling this journal with a new and unique stitch! We’ll spread out across the page, creating luscious two page spreads learning new collage techniques as we work. Combine a multitude of ephemera and your own style to create uniquely blended, layered and richly colored, personal journal pages.

Friday, Dec16 - Annual Holiday Party/Open House from 11 - 8. This is the first day to use your % off little envelope. Come in and finish your shopping and share a little holiday cheer with us all day long. We will have goodies and give-aways and some fun times. We will be doing a MITI during Holiday party/Open House. It will be a small banner that can be put on your tree or hung on a mantle or strung across a window. Part of the banner will be done at Stampin' from the Heart, 11720 Washington Place, Los Angeles, CA 90066 and the other part will be done at Sonja's Scrapbook Spot, Howard Hughes Parkway, 6081 Center Drive, Suite 205, Los Angeles, CA 90045, (310) 410-7272. It will be a fun Make It & Take It just before the holidays.

Thursday, Dec. 29 - Art from the Heart Club from 6:30 to 8:30. We are going to try something new so come on in and bring your stamping kit with you. If you like to make cards we will do that, if you like ATC's we will do that also. Come on in and let's have some fun. We will be doing two ATCs one Harvest and one Christmas and one Christmas card.
