Friday, July 6 - Card Making Night from 6:30 - 8:30. We will once again be doing a Hero Arts Make It and Take It, $10, and you will have 4 different cards to choose from--do one, do all four, do three of one card whatever your choice. Be sure to bring you basic stamping kit including scissors, ruler, adhesives and anything else you might like to put on your cards.
If any of you ever wanted to learn how to use the "Big Shot" Die Cut Machine, Saturday (July 7) is the day. Gayle Smith is doing a class from 10:30-2:00, 4 cards, $50. Bring your big kick, big shot cuddlebug machine and your standard stamping kit. If you don't have one of the machine that is ok. Gayle is always doing something different and unique with the Die Cut machine and you do not want to miss it. We need to have sign-ups by 2:00PM tomorrow, Friday for the class to go. Gayle needs to know how many to prepare for and so we need confirmed reservations by tomorrow.
Sunday, Kelly Kilmer is back with her mixed media journaling with "Listen to your Heart", 12:30-4:30, $70. This will be Kelly's last class in this area until late September--she is going on the road; so if you like Kelly's classes you better get your fix this Sunday unless you are travelling to the East Coast in the next few weeks.
Sunday, July 8th - Listen to Your Heart with Kelly Kilmer from 12:30 - 4:30. Cost is $70. You will start by deconstructing an old hardcover book and creating an
embellished, textured, luscious and visually stimulating artist’s book. Using a
combination of vintage and new, you will create fresh, one of a kind,
completely you artist’s journal pages while learning new techniques and ideas.
Working large and somewhat fast (though not too fast that you won’t be able to
keep up!), we’ll cover a lot of ground in this four hour workshop. Supply list: Scissors, small selection of favorite collage
ephemera, bone folder, cork back metal ruler, roll of waxed paper, roll of
paper towels, permanent black inkpad, container to hold water, 1" brushes
to glue (I like chip or bristle brushes), a few of your favorite glue sticks.
