Friday, April 13 - FUNdamentals of Texture with Kelly Kilmer from 11:30 - 3:30. Cost is $70.00. Who says that you can only use paint to create texture? In this class you will create a multitude of backgrounds (sans paint) while exploring hands on various texture techniques. Be prepared to layer, learn and have fun in this with a variety of mediums. The possibilities are endless and I will teach you everything I know while putting the FUN in the fundamentals of texture!Supply list: journal (or the instructor will have paper for you to work on), scissors, small selection of favorite collage ephemera, bone folder, cork back metal ruler, roll of waxed paper, roll of paper towels, permanent black inkpad, container to hold water, 1" brushes to glue (I like chip or bristle brushes), a few of your favorite glue sticks.
Friday, April 13 - Make It and Take It From 6:30 - 8:30. Cost is $5.00 each project. Come and see what fun thing in store for you.
Saturday, April 14 - Extravaganza from 8:30 to 5:00. Cost is $95.00. Breakfast is at 8:30 and the first set of classes starts at 9:15, lunch will be from 12:30 to 1:15, next set of classes starts at 1:30. Our teachers for this Extravaganza are Richard Bouchereau, Linda Forest, Lori Lai and Gayle Smith. We all have a great time learning new techniques, breaking bread with one another, getting our goody bags, winning prizes and enjoying ourselves. There are some fun new projects in the making. Come and have fun with us. So call and make your reservation.
Sunday, April 15 - Mix It Up with Rebekka Behunin from 10:30-1:00. Cost is $35. You will learn the do's & don'ts of paste mixing. You will also explore the fun technique of Sludge Pasting. You will have the opportunity to create many unique to your images. We will also be learning a power pasting technique. You will create 5 cards with the same image and two other cards. Supply List: adhesive and a paper trimmer so we can assemble your cards.
Sunday, April 15 - Creating with Stampee Foils with Rebekka Behunin from 2:00-4:30. Cost is $35. You will be learning some fun techniques with this unique product. Stampee Foils add that extra detail to make your project sparkle. We will be pasting with Dreamweaver Embossing paste, coloring with pigment inks, and embossing with the Big Shot. Supply List: 5 stencil brushes for coloring, scissors, adhesive, and a paper trimmer. Please sign up at the latest, Saturday by noon, so she can prepare.
