April Classes

Sunday, April 7 - New Paper Weaving 7 - Lori Lai from 12:15 - 4:15. Cost is $50.00.  Supply List: paper piercer with mat, tweezers, regular tape, personal paper trimmer, small "x"- xyron sticker maker (if you own one), paper piercer, foam mounting tape, double sided tape, bone folder, pencil/eraser, scissors, adhesive tape runner (such as Mono adhesive) or any other Basic Stamping Kit.

Tuesday, April 9 - Calligraphy Class #1 with DeAnn Singh from 7 to 9. This the first day of the 10 or 6 week class. We are running our normal 10 week session for $200.00 or you can sign up for as few as 6 week session for $120.00. Sunday, April 14 - Memory Mist Spray and Embossing with Rebekka B. of Dreamweaver from 10 - 12:30. Cost is $35.00. In this class we will be going old school to see when tou would want to use a light box to emboss instead of a machine. Not to worry we'll also be exploring some fun techniques in the century using our die cut machines for embossing. We will also be having some fun one of hailey favorite technique using memory mist spray. this class will be tons of fun. Supply List: Adhesive, scissor, paper trimmer, 5 small stencil brush, 1 large stencil brush and if you wish your die cut machines with all your plates.

Sunday, April 14 - Springtime Cards with Rebbekka B. of Dreamweaver from 2 - 4:30. Cost is $35.00. We will be learning and exploring tree different technique with their own twist crackle embossing, stenciling, and texturizing embossing paste. We will be stenciling with mica powder and pigment ink. Supply List: Adhesive, scissor, paper trimmer, 5 small stencil brush, 1 large stencil brush.

Friday, April 19th - Journal This with Kelly Kilmer from 11:30-3:30. Cost is $70. Let’s put the journal back in art journaling. This is a collage class but it’s also about how to write, where to write and what to write. Pretty pictures are nice to create but let’s put some meaning and written words onto our journal pages.This class is designed to nurture and encourage you in the art of art journaling. I guarantee that there will be plenty of collage AND written prompts! You will walk out with several completed pages and your head will be brimming full of new ideas and possibilities! Supply list: journal (or the instructor will have paper for you to work on), scissors, small selection of favorite collage ephemera, bone folder, cork back metal ruler, roll of waxed paper, roll of paper towels, permanent black inkpad, container to hold water, 1" brushes to glue (I like chip or bristle brushes) or a few of your favorite glue sticks.

Friday, April 19 - New Generation with Laura Cesareo from 6:30 - 8:30. Cost is $10.00. Come and see what fun things Laura has in store for us this evening--she always has fun projects. Age group 35 and under. The objective is to introduce stamping and craft to a younger generation. All ages are Welcome.

Saturday, April 20 - Traditional Journal Book with Wendy Poma from 10:30 - 1. Cost is $40.00. Wendy is always such fun to take a class from and her books are beautiful and such fun to journal, sketch or give as a gift to someone. All materials are provided by Wendy.

Thursday, April 25 -  Art from the Heart from 6:30 - 8:30. Bring your stamping kit with you If you like to make cards we will do that, if you like ATC's we will do that also. Come on in and let's have some fun.

Saturday, April 27 - Focus on Dye Inks with Carol Hoesly from 10:30 - 2:30. Cost is $45.00. Learn about characteristics of dye inks, and techniques that feature best use! Complete a variety of take-home sample with a notebook of information, comparison sample and technique instruction.

Sunday April 28th - My Interior Life with Kelly Kilmer from 12:30-4:30 Cost is $70. A book bound by your own hand is a precious thing but what if it’s also a book that is full of your own visions, thoughts and musings? In this unique workshop, we will be diving onto the pages learning new collage techniques, pen work, layering ideas, journal prompts and how to explore our own personal process of putting ourselves onto paper. You will walk out of class with a bound journal with several completed pages along with techniques and inspiration to fill them all!

Supply list: scissors, small selection of favorite collage ephemera, bone folder, cork back metal ruler, roll of waxed paper, roll of paper towels, permanent black inkpad, container to hold water, 1" brushes to glue (I like chip or bristle brushes) or a few of your favorite glue sticks.
